The Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd (KREDL), is an organization working under the purview of Energy Department, Government of Karnataka. Agency for Non Conventional Energy and Rural Technology (ANERT)
Agency for Non Conventional Energy and Rural Technology (ANERT) is an autonomus organisation established during 1986 under Societies Act by the Government of Kerala, now functioning under power dept with its Head Quarters at Thiruvananthapuram. The objective of the Agency is to gather and disseminate useful knowledge in various fields of Non Conventional Energy, Energy Conservation and Rural Technology, conduct studies, demonstrate, implement and support implementations of schemes and project in these fields and thereby deal with the problems arising out of the rapid depletion of conventional energy sources, update the technologies used in rural areas as well as introduce appropriate new technologies with an aim to reduce drudgery, increase production and improve quality of life. ANERT is also the Nodal Agency for the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy Sources (MNRE), Govt. of India, to carry out the Central Programmes in Kerala.

The Ladakh Renewable Energy Development Agency (LREDA) is the nodal agency for implementation in Ladakh of all non-conventional energy programmes of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.

Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd
The corporation was established by the Government of Madhya Pradesh in 1982 as the nodal agency for implementing various programs and policies of the Government of India as well as the State Government for the renewable energy sector. The scope of activities extends from implementing various schemes for meeting the energy needs of rural areas to the promotion and setting up of industrial and commercial projects for the use of non conventional power. Besides implementing all Government sponsored programs and projects in this sector MPUVN, creates awareness about the benefits of energy conservation and renewable energy among users of various forms of energy.

Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA)
In line with the Central Government policy, Maharashtra created Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA). Registered as a Society on 26 July 1985, MEDA as an organization commenced functioning from July 1986. MEDAs objective is to undertake development of renewable energy and facilitate energy conservation in the State of Maharashtra, as a state nodal agency under the umbrella of the MNRE. Apex controlling body of MEDA is the governing body with the Minister of Non Conventional Energy, Maharashtra state, as Chairman.

Meghalaya Non-Conventional and Rural Energy Development Agency
Meghalaya Non-Conventional and Rural Energy Development Agency was set-up on 14.09.87 as a State Nodal Agency for the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy Sources, Govt. of India. The Agency was registered under the Meghalaya Societies Registration Act 12 of 1983. The aims and objective of the Agency is to formulate and implement demonstration, experimental, promotional and extension projects and programmes related to New and Renewables Energy.
